EV3 Vehicle Technician- Mechanic – Dunstable

Basic Salary – up to £38,000

OTE – £50,500

Paid Overtime

Our client, a busy franchised LCV/Truck Dealership near Dunstable, Bedfordshire, is seeking experienced EV3 Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics to join their workshop team. Candidates with an EV3 qualification are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work on Van/LCV and progress to Trucks, depending on your interest and skill set.
• Ensure servicing and repairs are carried out to manufacturer standards.
• Perform cambelt, clutch, gearbox, and engine repairs/replacements, depending on skill level.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical diagnostics, depending on experience.
• Handle warranty repairs, with an initial focus on battery replacements for LCVs, leading into the truck side of the trade.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or Truck (Class 1).
• At least 1 year post-apprenticeship experience with EV3 accreditation.
• Full UK driving license.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience with Car/LCV/Truck vehicles.
• Manufacturer or IMI qualifications.
• Franchised dealer experience.
• MOT license (Class 4 & 7); assistance provided if not held.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Basic salary up to £38,000, depending on experience.
