Job Overview
Charles Hurst Newtownabbey Kia is looking for an experienced Master Technician to join our growing team. The role focuses on advanced diagnostics, technical leadership and ensuring right‑first‑time fixes. The position is full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday with alternating Saturday morning shifts. You will report to the aftersales manager and receive ongoing support and training, including manufacturer‑accredited and Hybrid & Electric programmes.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex vehicle faults to a high standard.
- Provide technical expertise and mentor other technicians in the workshop.
- Prepare and perform quality control of new and used prestige vehicles ready for sale.
- Support maintaining the highest levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Minimum 3–5 years qualified experience, preferably with a premium brand.
- Exceptional diagnostic skills and advanced mechanical knowledge.
- Previous role as a Master Technician or equivalent senior level role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repair or similar.
- Competent in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Current and clean Full driving licence.
