We are working with a fantastic Primary SEN school in Edgware, HA8 who are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to cover PPA across the school – EYFS up to KS2.

This is an OUTSTANDING primary SEN school for children with a wide range of complex and profound learning difficulties. These include severe autism, complex medical conditions, physical and mobility difficulties, as well as severe developmental delay.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised, multi-sensory lessons for pupils with PMLD and complex needs
• Support communication using AAC (e.g., Makaton, PECS, communication aids)
• Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and medical needs are met
• Use positive behaviour support strategies
• Create a safe, structured, sensory-rich learning environment

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching pupils with PMLD and complex needs
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Available after half term for trial and full-time work
