Do you love working with colour? Are you an Ink Technician with 2-3 years’ experience looking to work for an award winning self‑adhesive label manufacturing company? We have an opportunity for an Ink Technician to join a world‑class production facility that is focused on providing innovative, quality solutions to customers for a wide range of packaging requirements.
Main responsibilities
- Managing and formulating UV inks
- Colour proofing
- Trouble shooting colour problems
- Colour matching by eye but predominantly with spectrophotometers
Key requirements
- Experience of UV inks
- A good eye for colour and of LAB Colour Space
- Experience of Xrite IFS v6.41 or similar
- Experience of working in print and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices
- Able to work on own initiative
- An effective team player and communicator
