About the role
Knowsley is seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join its Communities Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment, delivering high-quality social care services to adults and families within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with statutory responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload, ensuring timely and person-centred interventions
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies
- Safeguard vulnerable individuals, promoting their independence and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
About You
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration
- Proven experience in a community-based social work setting
- Strong assessment and risk management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
