Demi Chef de Partie – Restaurant Mauro Colagreco – London
Reporting into Executive Chef, you will assist Sous Chefs / Chef de Parties in the preparation and service of food ensuring that the highest standards are always maintained and that Kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are kept clean & tidy to the required standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and run section.
- Correctly store and label food, equipment, and dry goods.
- Check and order equipment via correct channels.
- Produce mise en place to set standards.
- Involve in production and development of dishes for all outlets, setting standards.
- Involve in training commis chefs and apprentice chefs to set standards.
- Contribute to effective cost management and zero‑waste factor.
- Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and managers.
- Ensure new employees are made aware of correct standards.
- Ensure a harmonious and cordial working environment.
- Assist Manager in spot checks to maintain departmental standards.
- Be prepared to conduct job training with staff to maintain department standards.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills that create a positive kitchen culture through strong values.
- Previous relevant experience.
- A creative approach to the production of high‑quality food.
