Can you help with our Collection Tins and Daffodil Boxes?
Distribute and collect our Marie Curie tins or daffodil boxes in your local community – in shops, cafés, pubs, sports and social clubs, pharmacies and other venues.
Your impact truly matters. In 2024-2025, our Fundraising Groups raised £2.3 million for Marie Curie, and you could be part of what happens next. Even better, from a recent survey (Feb 2026) 96% of our fundraising volunteers would recommend volunteering to a friend
Availability: 2 hours per month
Time: Flexible to suit your schedule
Locations: Durham
Criteria: Aged 18 or over
What you’ll do:
- Distribute and collect collection tins/boxes
- Count and bank donations securely
- Monitor and empty donation boxes regularly
- Identify new venues
