HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver

Salary: GBP38000 – GBP38000 per annum

Kenect is hiring HGV Class 1 shunter drivers for a blue‑chip client based in Milton Keynes. This is a temp‑to‑perm position with a contract offered after 12 weeks, paid £38,000 p/a plus additional accrued holidays.

As a HGV Class 1 shunter driver, you will be responsible for arranging and moving trailers around the yard. This is an on‑site position, so you will not be required to leave the yard.

The role:

• Temp to perm position
• Runs available between Monday and Friday
• Hours: 1800 – 0300
• Paid weekly based on £38,000 p/a
• Using a DAF CF for a shunt motor (no tug)

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Cat CE
• No more than 6 points on your licence – no DG/DR endorsements due to insurance purposes
• A valid CPC and tacho card
• Hi‑vis and safety boots
