Join Our Central London Community Nursing Team – Band 3 Health Care Assistant

- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Substantial experience in acute or community care.
- Essential NHS experience; community experience is a plus.

Person Specification
Education / Qualification
- Higher Professional Diploma in Health and Wellbeing (NVQ/QCF – Level 3) or a recognised equivalent course.
- Willingness to undertake further training as appropriate.
- GCSE grade A‑C or equivalent in English and Maths; ECDL certificate.
- Registration with the national regulatory body when it becomes available.
Experience
- Experience working in a health or social care setting.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Experience with the use of Microsoft Office and a variety of databases.
- Experience with the NHS patient information database (Rio, CIS).
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of the NHS.
- Acceptable level of numeracy and literacy.
- Awareness of risk management.
- Knowledge of multi‑agency services available and referral processes.
- Knowledge of the effects of the ageing process and needs of vulnerable adults in relation to their health and well‑being.
- Knowledge of local health needs strategies.

Salary: £31,554 to £33,270 a year, inclusive of HCAS.
