Diagnostic Technician – Sutton Coldfield

Basic Salary: £36,000 – £39,000 (DOE)

OTE: £50,000 (Uncapped)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
• Perform advanced repairs and maintenance on vehicles/equipment to manufacturer and safety standards
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics and service bulletins to resolve issues accurately
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, meeting productivity and turnaround targets
• Carry out servicing & repairs to manufacturer standards
• Perform cambelt, clutch, gearbox & engine repairs/replacements
• Electrical & mechanical diagnostics
• Warranty repairs
• News car PDI’s and used car multi-point checks
• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in light vehicle maintenance
• Manufacturer accredited diagnostic technician qualification
• At least 2 years experience as a diagnostic technician
• Full and clean UK driving licence
• Own tools

Desirable Qualifications

• EV/Hybrid accreditation
• MOT licence (Class 4 & 7)

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Saturday mornings on rota (paid as overtime)
