The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Multi Trader to join our responsive maintenance team, working across social housing properties in and around Swadlincote. This is a customer‑facing role where quality, care, and getting things right first time really matter.
Typical Tasks
- General multi‑trade repairs (carpentry, minor plumbing, patch plastering, basic tiling, etc.)
- Diagnosing and resolving day‑to‑day repair issues
- Working professionally in residents’ homes with a strong customer focus
- Completing work to agreed SLAs and company standards
- Accurately updating job records using a mobile device
Essential Requirements
- Proven trade background (multi‑skilled)
- NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade (or equivalent)
- Experience in social housing responsive maintenance
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong customer service skills and a professional approach in residents’ homes
