The school is a specialist setting catering for pupils aged 3-19 who have severe and complex Learning Needs (SLD/PMLD). The school focuses on a pupil’s immediate learning needs and long‑term aspirations and creatively explores ways to remove barriers to engagement and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
• Assist in managing behaviour in a positive, structured manner
• Support the development of communication, social, and independence skills
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
• Monitor and record student progress

Requirements

• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly autism
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
