Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor
Salary: £25,989 per annum (pro rata). Hours: 12 hours per week. Location: Tarn Road, Brampton, Cumbria, CA81HN. Contract: Permanent.
About This Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and friendly Kitchen Supervisor to join our small, dedicated team at Talkin Tarn Country Park tearoom. The role involves baking homemade food and cakes to a high standard, serving as front of house to visitors, ensuring a high‑quality visitor experience, and managing the team in the absence of the tearoom manager.
Responsibilities include preparing a variety of pastries and cakes, maintaining food hygiene standards, assisting with inventory, and ensuring safe food handling. The position requires 12 hours per week, including weekend work and bank holidays on a rota system, with possible additional hours depending on team needs.
Qualifications: Previous experience in catering, good communication and customer service skills. Training will be provided in food hygiene and first aid if required.
