Year 2 Teacher

A friendly and well-regarded primary school in Hounslow is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team from April.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident KS1 practitioner who can support pupils through the summer term, ensuring strong progress and a smooth transition into Year 3.

The Role

• Full-time Year 2 class teacher
• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum
• Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with year group colleagues and SLT

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has recent KS1 experience (Year 2 preferred)
• Strong understanding of phonics and end-of-KS1 expectations
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Passionate about supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
