What is the job role?
Due to the retirement of the current postholder, Grange Farm Primary School is looking to appoint a highly motivated, organised and committed School Business Manager to join the School Leadership Team and drive improving standards across the School. Grange Farm is a two form entry Primary school set in the desirable area of Styvechale – not far from the War Memorial Park – in Coventry. Key Duties
- Managing the School’s finances.
- Overseeing management of the premises.
- Lead on Health and Safety.
- Lead HR practice and policy.
In addition, you will lead a team of non-teaching support staff, acting as the line manager for the Office team and the School’s Site Services Manager.
You will work 37 hours per week (30 hours for the right candidate). The post is term-time only, plus 5 Teacher Days and a further 1 week during school closure periods. This is likely to be at the end of the summer holidays.
There will be a requirement for you to attend occasional evening meetings, for which either payment or time off in lieu will be made.

Please note that this is a term time only role and annual leave is not permitted to be taken during the working weeks of this role.
