If you’re an experienced SEMH leader or an ambitious Deputy Head looking to take your next step, this is an exceptional opportunity to lead a thriving small school with a committed team and a strong reputation.

About the School

Currently supporting 18 pupils on roll, with a dedicated staff and nurturing approach to complex SEMH needs.

The Role

As Headteacher, you will:

  • Oversee a diverse and committed team delivering an adapted curriculum that meets the needs of each pupil.

  • Build strong relationships with staff, parents, and external partners to maintain and enhance the school’s excellent reputation.

About You

You will bring:

  • Proven experience working within SEMH or specialist education settings.
  • A flexible, open‑minded approach to managing the complexities and behaviours associated with SEMH pupils.
  • The ability to inspire, develop, and lead a multidisciplinary staff team.
  • A solid understanding of how to balance academic and therapeutic priorities within a smaller, specialist school.

What’s on Offer

  • Base salary up to £61,800, with potential bonuses up to £18,000 linked to performance indicators such as Ofsted outcomes and school occupancy.
  • A settled, supportive staff team and a school that has recently achieved strong inspection outcomes.
  • The chance to make a genuine difference to children’s lives in a nurturing, well‑run environment.
