We are currently seeking talented and passionate Chef de Parties to join various renowned establishments across East Sussex. We have opportunities in gastro pubs, hotels, and Rosette establishments, all celebrated for their exceptional cuisine and vibrant atmospheres, using the finest local ingredients to create memorable dining experiences for their guests.
Job Description: We are on the lookout for talented and enthusiastic Chef de Parties to join dynamic kitchen teams at multiple bustling venues. The ideal candidates will have a strong culinary background and a commitment to excellence. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring that all food is cooked to perfection and meets the high standards of each establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to each venue’s menu
- Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and health & safety
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Manage your section efficiently and maintain a clean workspace
- Contribute to menu development and innovation
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Passion for food and creativity in cooking
