Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Housing Tutor based in Nottingham. The Housing Tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality training sessions on housing-related topics. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching small groups or one-on-one, monitoring and assessing learners’ progress, and providing ongoing mentorship and support to ensure their success. The Housing Tutor will also be required to ensure compliance with internal and external standards and work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve the delivery of courses.
Qualifications
- Experience in delivering vocational training or teaching, particularly in housing-related topics
- Strong knowledge of housing-related legislation, tenancy management, property management, or maintenance
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and deliver engaging and structured training sessions
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, and assessing learners
- A recognized teaching qualification or willingness to work towards obtaining one
- Proficiency with basic IT tools, including Microsoft Office and online learning platforms
- A passion for education, personal development, and helping others achieve their goals
- A housing or related qualification and relevant industry experience are advantageous
