We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a driven and passionate graduate to join a high-achieving, Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in Birmingham as an Unqualified History Teacher. This role is ideal for a History (or related subject) graduate looking to gain invaluable classroom experience before progressing into formal teacher training.

What’s the role?

• Deliver engaging History lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Support students in developing their analytical and evaluative skills.
• Assist in the creation of lesson plans and resources.
• Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Track and support student progress and attainment.

What are we looking for?

• A 2:1 or higher degree in History or a related subject.
• A strong academic background.
• A genuine passion for education.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience of working with young people is desirable but not essential.
