Primary tasks and duties
The tasks/duties below are indicative of the works required (not exhaustive)
- Produce quality drawings using current CAD systems to undertake/assist in design in accordance with quality management system, to meet agreed programmes and budgets.
- Ensure that the Company Design Assurance is applied to all allocated projects
- Assist in the maintenance of CAD manual and cell libraries as directed by the BIM Manager.
- Ensure all works meet the company/client CAD manual requirements
- Ensure all works satisfy the required BIM level of detail for the stage of design
Qualifications and Training
Essential:
- Formal CAD qualifications to Level 3 standard or equivalent.
- Valid full clean driving licence.
- Shall have a sound understanding and experience in using CAD and CDE software to BIM level 2 standard.
- Proven CAD experience of at least 2 years.
- Possess good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to monitor compliance of delivery.
- Time management.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable:
- ISO 19650-2 Accreditation process (BIM Level 2 Certification).
- Eng Tech status within relevant Engineering Council Approved Body (IMechE, ICE, IET, PWI).
- Shall have a sound understanding of the CDM Regulations, specifically the designer’s requirements.
- Proficient in Office 365 specifically Excel
