Class 1 Driver

Overview

Ready to find the right role for you? Salary: £17.77 per hour. Minimum annual earnings of £43,602. Minimum weekly earnings of £838.50. Nights out paid at £41.47 (parking paid separately on expenses). Weekend work available at enhanced rates – Saturday £22.17 / Sunday £29.57. Guaranteed 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime required. Location: Norwood, South Yorkshire, S21 2DR.

Responsibilities

• Collect non‑hazardous waste from various commercial sites across the UK.
• Operate vacuum tankers, product barrels, curtain‑side trailers and rigids.
• Record all completed work on the daily worksheet and submit it daily/weekly along with vehicle check sheets, fuel receipts and weighbridge tickets.
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation related to your duties, including security and weight of loads.

Qualifications

• CatC+E (Class1) licence and previous driving experience.
• Driver CPC and ADR endorsements.
