We are seeking a Testing Technician for our Havant, Hampshire site, working onsite with Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company.
Key Responsibilities
- Testing of product to predefined test procedures (ATP’s).
- Programming of PCB assemblies with software and verifying it for use.
- Performing / Setting up electrical soak testing on all products that have a requirement to do so.
- Verification of brought in programmed PCB assemblies to ensure the pre‑loaded software is at the correct revision.
- Verifying test equipment and set‑ups prior to release to production.
- Communicate any problems or obstacles to the Testing Supervisor or the Production Manager in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a production or assembly environment (essential).
- Experience in a production testing environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with a team.
- Attention to detail and precision in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written and numerical.
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Strong PC skills.
