Role Description
This is a full-time on‑site role for a Teacher of Science, based in Liverpool. The Teacher of Science will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering high‑quality science education to students aged 11‑16, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Additional responsibilities include assessing and tracking students’ progress, supporting their individual learning needs, and contributing to the school’s wider mission of academic and personal development.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and teaching ability in Science Education, including specialism in Physics or related fields
- Proficiency in Mathematics to support interdisciplinary learning and understanding of scientific concepts
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Passion for education and commitment to improving student outcomes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
