About the Role

We wish to appoint an outstanding Level 3 Teaching Assistant with the passion and experience to lead interventions for students with SEMH needs, to raise standards in attainment and achievement and improve outcomes for all students. You will be joining the dedicated SEND Team to support and manage the behavioural and emotional needs of our pupils, working closely alongside our welfare and pastoral teams under the direction of the SENCO and the Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion as we work towards establishing an Inclusion Space. We are seeking someone to actively work with pupils and parents to intervene where there are issues surrounding behaviour. The role requires acting as a positive role model and ambassador for these young people and their families, in conjunction with our dedicated staff and senior leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead interventions for students with SEMH needs.
  • Raise standards in attainment and achievement and improve outcomes for all students.
  • Support and manage the behavioural and emotional needs of pupils.
  • Work closely with welfare and pastoral teams, the SENCO and Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion.
  • Act as a positive role model and ambassador for students with additional needs and their families.

Qualifications

Expect to be an outstanding Level 3 Teaching Assistant with passion and experience in supporting students with SEMH needs. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and strong collaboration with senior leadership, welfare, and pastoral teams is required. Approachable, empathetic and able to act as a positive role model.
