ICT/Computing Teacher

About this Role

Adelaide School is a special school for pupils aged between 10-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs based in Crewe.

We are looking to recruit an ICT Teacher who is committed to improving the outcomes and life chances of young people with complex special educational needs, and who has the ability to inspire pupils to achieve their full potential.

Part‑time applications will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• High expectations of academic achievement
• A successful track record of motivating young people
• Well‑planned, sequenced, innovative and engaging lessons
• Clear direction and support for teaching assistants
• An awareness of trauma‑informed practices and positive mental health promotion
• A clear understanding of, and ability to, manage behaviour that challenges
• Subject leadership of a subject as directed by the Senior Leadership Team
