HGV Class 1 Driver – Join Our Team!
Location: Burton-on-Trent DE14
Pay Rate: £15.70 per hour for first 48 hours, £23.55 for overtime. From July 2026: £16.17 for first 48 hours, £24.26 overtime
Type: Temporary (Temp to Perm opportunities available)
Our client based in Burton‑On‑Trent is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their busy operation. Your daily work will include trunking to RDCs around the country with minimal handball.
Responsibilities
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will deliver products to regional distribution centres while maintaining a professional, customer‑facing appearance.
Shift Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Start times: 06:00‑08:00, 10:00‑13:00, 16:00‑19:00
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points on driving licence
- Physically fit to manage deliveries (incl. lifting)
- Clean professional appearance for customer‑facing work
