Our client is a very successful, multi‑site Alternative Provision serving primary‑aged learners. We are seeking someone with previous experience who can act as a positive role model for young children. The ideal candidate has experience working with children who have SEMH, are experiencing trauma, and display challenging behaviour, as well as other SEND needs. While experience in an educational setting with SEND learners is preferred, other relevant experience may be considered.
The Alternative Provision has a new site that offers a bright and inviting learning environment. Staff work in small groups or 1:1 with every pupil in rotation, using a THRIVE approach and music therapy. The setting is expanding, providing coaching for upper KS2 pupils, a successful Forest School and outdoor education programme, and outreach to local primary schools.
