Class 2 Refuse Driver

Overview

Job Title: Class 2 Refuse DriverLocation: Station Road, B65Pay Rate: £15.00 per hourOvertime: Paid at 150% after 45 hours per week

Working Hours

• Start time: 5:00 AM
• Typical finish: Around 3:00 PM (depending on workload and route completion)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
• Collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial areas
• Work closely with loaders to complete daily routes
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Deliver a high standard of service to the local community

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous refuse collection or similar driving experience (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
• Ability to work early mornings and in all weather conditions
• Good teamwork and communication skills
