Role Overview

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the preparation and delivery of meals that meet residents’ nutritional needs, dignity, and personal preferences, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supporting basic food preparation and simple cooking
• Serving meals with correct portion control
• Preparing, setting up, and clearing dining areas
• Cleaning kitchen areas, equipment, and dining furniture to set standards
• Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations at all times
• Working as part of a supportive kitchen team and following duty rotas
