Job Overview
Due to the retirement of the current postholder, Grange Farm Primary School is looking to appoint a highly motivated, organised and committed School Business Manager to join the School Leadership Team and drive improving standards across the School. Grange Farm is a two‑form entry Primary school set in the desirable area of Styvechale – not far from the War Memorial Park, in Coventry.
Key Duties
- Managing the School’s finances
- Overseeing management of the premises
- Lead on Health and Safety
- Lead HR practice and policy
- Lead a team of non‑teaching support staff, acting as the Line Manager for the Office team and the School’s Site Services Manager
- Attend occasional evening meetings (with payment or time off in lieu)
You will work 37 hours per week (30 hours for the right candidate). The post is term‑time only, plus 5 Teacher Days and a further 1 week during school closure periods, likely at the end of the summer holidays.
We are looking for
- Experience of managing staff
- Professional experience in Health and Safety, Financial and Budgetary control, Human Resources, Premises and Site management
