Job Overview

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Powder Coater to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and coating steel products to a high standard using powder coating equipment and techniques. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and maintaining high quality standards throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing steel products for coating including cleaning, masking, and surface preparation.
• Operating powder coating machine.
• Applying powder coatings evenly to steel components and products.
• Loading and unloading parts onto the coating line or racks.
• Monitoring curing ovens to ensure correct temperature and finish quality.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred.
• Experience working with steel products or metal fabrication environments is beneficial.
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and reliability.
