The Best Connection Chesterfield are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for a leading logistics client based in Worksop.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work, excellent pay rates, and straightforward trunking duties with no to minimal handball.

• Role: Class 1 HGV Driver (C+E)
• Location: Worksop/Blyth
• Shifts: Days – start times from 04:00 onwards
• Pattern: 5 days per week (5 out of 6 during peak, Monday–Saturday)
• Work Type: Depot-to-depot trunking (minimal/no handball)

Key Responsibilities

• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Following planned routes and schedules
• Ensuring full compliance with UK driving laws and tachograph regulations
• Communicating with the transport team regarding delays or issues

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication and timekeeping skills
• Reliable and professional approach
