Job Title: Curriculum Technician – PE & Food Technology

E-ACT The Oldham Academy North is a dynamic inclusive 11-16 secondary academy located in Oldham.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up equipment and resources for PE and Food Technology lessons
  • Maintain and organise stock, ordering and replenishing supplies
  • Ensure all health, safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Support teaching staff during practical lessons and activities
  • Clean, check, and safely store equipment after use
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to both departments

Pay Range: SCP 3 – £21,808.00 (Full-Time Equivalency: £24,796.00) – 37 hours per week over 39 weeks

Qualifications and Skills

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant qualification or experience in a technical/support role, education setting desirable
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices, particularly in PE and/or Food Technology
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Practical, hands‑on approach with a proactive attitude
