Key Stage Teacher Supply is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Chorley, teaching pupils across Year 1 & Year 2. The role is full‑time and long‑term, providing the opportunity to deliver high‑quality teaching within a supportive and well‑structured school environment.

Primary Teacher role requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A proactive and reflective approach to teaching
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum
  • Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • Monitor, assess and track pupil progress
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO and leadership
