This role is ideal for a History (or related subject) graduate looking to gain invaluable classroom experience before progressing into formal teacher training.
What’s the role?
- Deliver engaging History lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Support students in developing their analytical and evaluative skills
- Assist in the creation of lesson plans and resources
- Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
- Track and support student progress and attainment
What are we looking for?
- A 2:1 or higher degree in History or a related subject
- A strong academic background
- A genuine passion for education
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Previous experience of working with young people is desirable but not essential.
