Location: Widnes, WA8 8XW

Salary and Overtime:

  • Minimum weekly earnings of £838,50
  • Minimum annual earnings of £43,602
  • Some nights out required paid at £41.47 (parking paid separately on expenses)
  • Saturday overtime rate £22.17
  • Sunday overtime rate £29.57

Hours:

50 hours per week guaranteed. Monday to Friday (shifts normally start between 5am/6am). Shifts between 10 and 13 hours. Some nights out are required and weekend work is available as additional overtime.

What you’ll be doing

  • Join our Hazardous Logistics fleet in Widnes, driving a fleet of modern vehicles.
  • Collect hazardous and non-hazardous waste from various commercial sites around the UK on vacuum tankers and general purpose tankers.
  • Operate curtain siders and rigid curtain sider with tail lift.
  • Ensure that each day all completed work is detailed on your daily worksheet and handed in daily/weekly along with daily vehicle check sheets, fuel receipts and weighbridge tickets.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and legislation relating to your duties, including the security and weight of loads.

What we’re looking for

  • Cat C+E (Class 1) licence and previous driving experience.
  • Driver CPC ADR in packages and tankers.
