Salary

• £13.50 per hour (PAYE) / £15.13 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
• Overtime after 8 hours:
  • £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
  • £16.81 per hour (PAYE Advanced)

Job Type

• Full-time, ongoing work
• Monday to Saturday (5 shifts on a rota basis)
• Start time: 05:45 AM
• Minimum 8-hour shifts (longer days during busy periods)

About the Role

Driver Hire Kettering is recruiting a 7.5T (Cat C1) Driver for a well-established white goods company.

This is a customer-facing role involving:

• Delivery and installation of home appliances
• Driving a 7.5T vehicle
• Completing 10-25 deliveries per day
• Working single or double-manned routes
• Providing excellent customer service in customers’ homes

Full training provided for appliance installation (if offered a permanent role).

Lifting equipment supplied (must still be physically fit).

Requirements

• Valid C1 (7.5T) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no major offences)
• Minimum 12 months 7.5T driving experience
• Good level of physical fitness
• Strong customer service skills
