About the Role – Psychology and Criminology Graduate Mental Health Assistant
This education and training role is ased in a specialist SEMH school, you’ll support pupils with a range of needs including behavioural challenges, autism, and mental health difficulties.
You will:
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
- Support emotional regulation and wellbeing
- Apply therapeutic and behavioural strategies in the classroom
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and psychologists
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Encourage engagement through activities—sporting interests can be helpful but are not essential
