Salary: GBP16.50 per hour.

Thrive Oldham are recruiting on behalf of our well‑established client in the Oldham area for FLT Drivers (Gas).

Responsibilities:

• Meet all health and safety needs of the business.
• Complete a check sheet to verify the FLT is in a sound and usable condition before commencing any FLT work; keep the sheet for reference.
• Practice good health and safety actions at all times.
• Follow all Safe Systems of Work and complete all written quality checks as required.
• Report all health and safety issues immediately to supervision.
• Ensure the FLT is parked in a suitable area where it will not cause an obstruction.
• Ensure the vehicle is switched off, left in neutral with the parking brake applied and the ignition key removed.
• Wear the seat or kidney belt when operating the FLT.

Qualifications and Experience:

• All FLT drivers must be certified by a recognised ITSSAR/RTITB approved training course and be in possession of a valid certificate.
• Experience in using gas and electric FLTs.
• Minimum of 2 years of gas experience driving FLT.
• Manual handling experience and warehouse experience; able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
