Apprentice Highway Network Management Technician – 2 Posts (CDC)
Salary: Grade 3 – £24,796 (pay award pending)
Contract: Temporary Fixed Term, lasting 24 months from the start date, or until completion of the qualification.
Hours: 37 hours per week

The City of Doncaster Council invites applications for two Apprenticeship roles in Highway Network Management. The successful candidates will be based at the Civic Office in Doncaster and will rotate through specialist teams to gain a broad understanding of highway network management and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Highway Enforcement team to support enforcement activities.
- Assist the Network Coordination team with planning and coordination of network works.
- Participate in the Public Rights of Way (PROW) team to manage rights of way issues.
- Support the Streetworks Compliance team in monitoring and enforcing streetworks compliance.
- Contribute to the Road Safety team’s initiatives for improving road safety.
Throughout the apprenticeship you will work towards achieving the Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprenticeship while completing all mandatory training requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must meet the entry requirements of a Level 4 apprenticeship.
- Ability to successfully complete the full apprenticeship standard.
- Predicted grades may be accepted if currently studying to a Level 3 standard.
- Solutions‑driven, results‑focused with strong teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm for building a career in highways or regulatory compliance, with a willingness to engage with internal and external partners.
