GCSE Maths Dyslexia and ADHD Tutor

The Learning Compass is the UK’s leading multilingual platform designed to support neurodiverse learners in connecting with specialized tutors.

This is a contract hybrid role for a GCSE Maths Tutor specialising in supporting students with dyslexia and ADHD. Based in Reading, this role allows for some remote work flexibility.

Responsibilities

Providing tailored tutoring sessions, teaching mathematics and algebra concepts, adapting methods to accommodate neurodiverse learning styles, supporting students online and in-person, and maintaining clear and effective communication with students, parents, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Mathematics and Algebra teaching
• Proven experience in Online Tutoring and tutoring in structured environments
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with students, parents, and colleagues
• Understanding of neurodiverse needs, including experience working with students with dyslexia and ADHD, is highly advantageous
• Possession of relevant teaching qualifications or certifications is preferred
• Ability to create engaging and dynamic lesson plans tailored to students’ needs
• A DBS check or willingness to obtain one prior to the start date
