Salary range: GBP40317 – GBP62496 per annum.

Are you an SEN teacher with experience supporting students with PMLD and complex needs? An outstanding SEN School in Kensington & Chelsea is looking for a SEN Teacher to join their Primary Unit from September 2026.

The school teaches a bespoke curriculum focusing on enabling students to live independently after completion of their courses. Learning prioritises enterprise and employability, friendships and relationships, and functional life skills.

Classes are limited to a maximum of 10 students, with 8–10 Learning Support Assistants to support students’ needs – meaning your role will be entirely teaching and learning focused.

Role Details

• Permanent contract




• MPS1 – UPS1




• Teach Monday–Thursday; Friday is a planning and enrichment day




• Location: Kensington & Chelsea




• Plan and differentiate lessons for 7–10 students with PMLD in each class




• Ensure support staff are aware of lesson plans and objectives




• Implement appropriate assessment and effective progress tracking

• Primary school serving students with profound and multiple learning disabilities and SEMH




• 75 students aged 16 and over




• On‑site vocational opportunities including catering, digital media, and more

Candidate Profile

• Experience with PMLD and complex needs




• Diploma in Education and Training




• Degree at 1st class or 2:1 level




• Teaching experience with students who have special needs
