Are you an SEN teacher with experience supporting students with PMLD and complex needs? An outstanding SEN School in Kensington & Chelsea is looking for a SEN Teacher to join their Primary Unit from September 2026.
The school teaches a bespoke curriculum focusing on enabling students to live independently after completion of their courses. Learning prioritises enterprise and employability, friendships and relationships, and functional life skills.
Classes are limited to a maximum of 10 students, with 8–10 Learning Support Assistants to support students’ needs – meaning your role will be entirely teaching and learning focused.
Role Details
- Permanent contract
- MPS1 – UPS1
- Teach Monday–Thursday; Friday is a planning and enrichment day
- Location: Kensington & Chelsea
- Plan and differentiate lessons for 7–10 students with PMLD in each class
- Ensure support staff are aware of lesson plans and objectives
- Implement appropriate assessment and effective progress tracking

Candidate Profile
- Experience with PMLD and complex needs
- Diploma in Education and Training
- Degree at 1st class or 2:1 level
- Teaching experience with students who have special needs
