Position: Laundry Attendant
InterContinental London Park Lane, located in Mayfair, is looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Laundry Attendant to join the housekeeping team with an immediate start.
Role Summary: The Laundry Attendant maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and convenience by washing, drying, folding, pressing, and organizing hotel linens and guest laundry. The role requires efficient use of laundry equipment, meticulous attention to quality and hygiene standards, and coordination with housekeeping to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, fold, press, and organize hotel linens and guest laundry.
- Sort laundry by fabric type and colour and treat stains as needed.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all items meet hotel quality and hygiene standards.
- Assist with linen inventory and storage.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.
- Follow health, safety, and cleanliness procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and time‑management skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
- Team‑oriented with a positive work attitude.

Work Schedule
Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Shift work, including nights and days, is required.
