LGV C Driver – Bridgwater

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to local area, maintaining customer service standards and ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Moving stock both manually and by safe operation of mechanical handling equipment.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and comply with company procedures and drivers’ regulations.
• Apply health & safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Class 2 LGV licence essential.
• Driver CPC essential.
• Customer service skills essential.
• Experience in delivery driving and local knowledge desirable.
• Health and safety awareness essential.
• Product knowledge desirable.
• Able to work from collection and delivery tickets and pick orders.
• Able to work as part of a team.

Working Hours

• Basic 42.5 hours Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
• Saturday mornings on a rota basis 8:00am to 12:00noon.
• Stocktake weekend once a year.
• Some bank holidays.
