Position
Travel & Tourism Course Leader (Tutor), 0.6 FTE – Part Time, 22.5 hours per week (Mon, Wed, Fri). Salary: £18,374.40 – £21,954 per annum. Location: Town Centre Campus, Burton on Trent.
About the role
The College is seeking a passionate and creative individual to join the Travel and Tourism Curriculum Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward‑thinking, learner‑centred department focused on industry connections, personal development, behaviour improvement and achieving outstanding outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide Course Leadership, monitoring individual, qualification and course performance and implementing appropriate support.
- Deliver modules on the Level 3 Travel and Tourism study programme, aligning to occupational skillset and ensuring high quality teaching, learning and assessment.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to innovative learning, teaching and assessment, and adopt methods that move beyond the traditional classroom.
- Engage with the Travel and Tourism industry, introduce and develop relationships with local, regional and national employers.
Qualifications
- Qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
- Demonstrated passion for the Travel and Tourism industry and excellent communication skills to motivate and guide learners.
