Job Description:
* KS1 Primary Teacher* Year 1 or Year 2 Class Options Available* September 2025 Start* Located in Colchester, Essex* 2 Form Entry Primary School* Full Time & Permanent Position* Suitable for ECTs and Experienced Teachers* TLRs Available for Subject Leadership* MPS1 to UPS3
What You’ll Bring:
* UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)* Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1* Secure knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum* Ability to deliver creative, engaging lessons* Confidence in supporting early reading and phonics development* Strong classroom management and organisational skills* A positive, team-focused attitude with a proactive approach to learning
Job Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum* Work closely with your year group partner and planning team* Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure all students reach their potential* Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment with strong behaviour management* Collaborate with support staff, parents and leadership to promote student success
