Primary Teaching Assistant: Cover, Phonics & Interventions

Rochdale Council is seeking a Grade 5 Teacher for a permanent position starting in September 2026. This role requires recent experience covering classes in the absence of teachers and extensive knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and Phonics.

The successful candidate will work part-time during term times, demonstrating excellent literacy and numeracy skills while supporting children’s diverse needs. Effective communication with pupils and staff is essential. An enhanced background check is required for this post.
