Retail Merchandiser

We are looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the PR8 5JH area. You will be an integral part of a field‑based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well‑stocked.

About the role

Confirmed working days/hours: 7. Wednesdays – 3.5 hours during store opening hours (start time flexible). Plus ad‑hoc work up to 7 hours. Work starts 1 March 2026. Full induction provided.

How you’ll deliver excellence

• Compliance and Standards – You will know and stick to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
• Planogram implementation – You will follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment – You will arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point‑of‑Sale setup – You will set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• Relationship building – You will build and maintain good working relationships with in‑store colleagues, particularly department and store managers, and provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams.

Qualifications and expectations

• Experience or passion for merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivation and ability to own work within set time‑frames and use initiative to find solutions.
• High standards of service and commitment to client satisfaction.
• Comfortable with manual handling; ability to move and arrange products from warehouse to shopfloor.
• Willingness to accept home deliveries of point‑of‑sale or stock items for some visits (extra pay).
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about tasks.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
