Reception Teaching Assistant – Barnet, London
Pay: £90–£100 per day | Full-Time, Temporary | Start Date: June 2026
About the Role
As a Reception Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging Early Years Foundation Stage learning opportunities while providing targeted support for two children with ASD and ADHD. One child is minimally verbal and has a short attention span, so experience supporting children with additional needs in an Early Years setting is essential.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working within an EYFS setting.
- Experience supporting children with ASD and/or ADHD.
- Knowledge of strategies to support children who are minimally verbal.
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development.
