Psychology Teacher

A school in Kinver is seeking a flexible and confident Secondary Supply Teacher to provide general cover in a well-regarded secondary school in location, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. This is a 2-day a week position delivering lessons across Key Stage 4 (KS4).

The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and a supportive senior leadership team, making it an excellent environment for a Secondary Supply Teacher looking for a role in Kinver.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects
  • Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
